The school day started this morning at 8:00 AM with a breakfast for all of the students in the exchange. After that, everyone went off to class in small groups. English classes with the middle schoolers, English literature, French literature, history/geography, music (Sara and Adam), art (Abby and Catherine), and gym (Taylor). Some students had class until 6:00 PM, while others were finished by 2:00! Everyone left with their host students to go home for dinner, although a few of the early finishers got to do some shopping.
Tomorrow we have a full day at school with English, French, history, math, and French literature. In the afternoon, Michael, Matt, Jasmine, and River will have a music class and Tom and Brianna will also go to art. During the day the whole group will also be participating in an art project with a visiting street artist! We will post picture of the project tomorrow.
Wow, the, uh, stereotypes of the French subsisting primarily on bread seem to be true based on that spread.
