Saturday April 29
After returning from the field trip last night there were some quiet nights, some dinners, some outings, and some sleepovers.
Today the program was different for everyone! Trampoline parks, beaches, castles, picturesque towns and attractions… The pictures below were shared with us from today with an explanation (when shared!).
Cole visited Harcourt Castle.
Many of us visited the capital city of Normandie, Rouen. It is close to Elbeuf and is known as the city of 100 bells because it has so many churches.
The spot where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake.
Le Gros Horloge
Palais de Justice - the courthouse
L'Aître Saint Maclou - a former ossuary where they put the bones from all the people who died during the black plague in the area. They found the mummified cat in the wall around 50 years ago when they were doing work on the building. Live cats were put in the walls when they built medieval buildings to chase away the bad spirits.

The Rouen Cathedral - Notre Dame de Rouen
