A Dreaded Sunny Day/ So I'll Meet You At The Cimetière Gates

Let's get this out of the way: the weather may well betray us by the time we get to Paris, but yesterday was perfect. Warm and bright, the ideal day to eat in a lawn filled with flowers, to walk on a beach, and to maybe even get a little sunburnt because it was deceptively mild.

In addition to yesterday being lovely, it was also absolutely packed. We loaded up the bus at eight in the morning, and then went from location to location, spending a too-brief time at each before getting back on the bus and going to the next thought-provoking spectacle. There simply wasn't enough time in the day to absorb each of the locations fully.

To that end, let's try and let the visuals convey how stuffed full of sights and experiences yesterday was.

THE BUS:

MUSÉE ARROMANCHES 360

LONGUES SUR MER BATTERY:

\\

CIMETIÈRE DE COLLEVILLE SUR MER:

OMAHA BEACH:

LA POINTE DU HOC

PS: Yes, the post title is, once again, a niche musical reference. You're welcome, Aidan.
